Honey, I'm Home (2018)

Honey, I'm Home is the first short film I wrote, directed, and organized production for in the summer of 2018. It follows a young woman in 1950's suburbia who realizes her husband may not be who he seems upon his return home from work. I based this film off of thriller classics such as Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956). While I have my own acclaims and criticisms of the film, it was my first experience writing a script and working on a set and was a great learning experience.

Section One Tribute (2018)

After UNCSA's Summer Session 2018 wrapped, I took some of the footage from all of my peer's films and put them into one reflective video. I edited the video, borrowing clips from each of the film's respective directors and cinematographers.

Fugetta 'Bout It (2019)

Fugetta 'Bout It is the second short film I put into works in the summer of 2019. I wrote, edited, and photographed it and allowed my talented friend Sam Weiner to direct it. Stylistically, I drew lots of inspiration from movies like Clerks (1994) and Frances Ha (2012). I hoped to explore the conversational and cognitive dynamics between men and women with this "slice of life" film. It follows a couple whose trivial bickering leads to a larger reveal of the struggles within their relationship.
